  • No real-money gambling

Coming to the App Store and Google Play

Real rules

The house edge, in plain sight

Every table plays to a published rule set, printed on its felt.

  • Blackjack at Vegas Strip rules: six decks, the dealer stands on all 17s, blackjack pays 3 to 2.
  • Baccarat (Punto Banco): Banker pays 19 to 20, Tie pays 8 to 1. Peel your own cards up from the corner with the squeeze.
  • Tap ⓘ at any table for its rules and each bet's house edge, worked out by the same engine that deals the cards.
  • Nothing about you, not your balance and not what you've bought, ever reaches the code that shuffles and deals.
A live blackjack hand: the felt reads Blackjack pays 3 to 2, dealer must stand on all 17s; the player holds a two and a queen, with Hit, Stand, Double and Surrender below.

The Strategy Lab

See what your strategy really does

The Lab runs thousands of blackjack rounds on your phone in a moment and shows you what happened, including when the math disappoints. It never touches your chips.

Simulate

Pick one of six blackjack rule sets, a bankroll and a session length, and run up to 10,000 rounds of basic strategy at a flat bet.

The real numbers

Rounds won, pushed and lost; the net per 100 rounds; the house edge with its 95 % range; the chance of going broke; the longest streaks.

Where a bankroll ends up

A chart of the spread of sessions, from the unlucky 5 % to the lucky 5 %, so a good run reads as what it is.

Over enough rounds, the house edge shows up. The Lab lets you watch it happen.

My play keeps your own score: the rounds you won, pushed and lost at each table, and your net, over the last seven days.

Provably fair

Check every shuffle yourself

Before a shoe is shuffled, the table shows you a lock on its server seed: a SHA-256 hash that fixes the seed without showing it. Draw a new seed and your phone picks its own half after the table has locked in the next one. The table then reveals the old seed, and anyone can redo the shuffle and check every card it dealt.

A live baccarat coup with the squeeze: the player's ace of hearts peeled up from its corner, the second card still face down, on an oxblood felt marked Banker pays 19 to 20, Tie pays 8 to 1.

A fair deal

Play chips, and plenty of free ones

Play money only

Chips have no cash value. They can't be cashed out, sold or sent to another player, and there are no prizes. True Odds doesn't offer real-money gambling.

Always free to play

New players start with free chips, there's a daily bonus, and when you run out a free refill comes every two hours. You never have to pay to keep playing.

Ads only when you ask

The only ads are short videos you choose to watch for free chips. No banners, and no ads in the middle of a hand.

Chip packs, if you want them

Chip packs are sold through the App Store and Google Play at the store's price. Bought chips never expire, and no purchase changes the odds.

Responsible play

Breaks and reminders, built in

Set a reminder that shows how long you've played and your net chips, or take a break from the tables for 30 days, 6 months, a year or for good. A break can't be shortened.
